Creating a Dreamy Full-Length Mirror Setup in Our Farmhouse Master Bedroom

After our master bedroom remodel last year (stay tuned for a future post on that!), I found myself wanting a special spot for a full-length mirror. For years, I had made do with one of those practical but uninspiring over-the-door mirrors from my college days. The remodel, which gave our bedroom a cozy farmhouse feel, provided the perfect opportunity to create a charming focal point with a new mirror setup.

The only before image of the over-the-door mirror I could find.

After spending time on Pinterest, I settled on a design that pulled pieces from several design ideas. A full-length mirror with a warm walnut frame was the anchor of the arrangement. Placed on a round rug that matched the area rug beneath our bed, it created a cozy and visually appealing corner.

To complement the mirror, I curated a few carefully chosen accents. A rustic wicker basket, casually draped with a soft throw blanket, added texture and a touch of comfort to the right-hand side of the mirror. The left-hand side of the mirror has farmhouse floor vases, wooden candle holders, and accent beads. Each piece was selected not just for its aesthetic appeal, but also for its ability to enhance the overall farmhouse look we were going for.

Here is a closer look at some of the accent pieces in the arrangement.

In the end, the full-length mirror setup exceeded my expectations. It transformed a mundane corner into a charming retreat within our bedroom. It's a reminder that even the smallest details can make a significant impact when thoughtfully curated in a space that reflects who we are and how we want to feel at home.
